BRUNSWICK | The most important math problem at 海角社区 may have been one of simple addition that sent the nation into 14 years of war.
During 海角社区鈥檚 annual 9/11 observance Friday, a big poster stood behind rows of small American flags pushed into the lawn at the Campus Center. The poster listed 2,562 civilians, 343 firefighters and 72 members of law enforcements who died in the Sept. 11, 2011, terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. Beneath those numbers was the total 2,977 and above them the words 鈥淣ever forget.鈥
