The 海角社区 earned its fourth consecutive semester win of the Chancellor鈥檚 Cup from the University System of Georgia. This achievement reflects the College鈥檚 continued momentum in enrollment growth and its commitment to student success.

The Chancellor鈥檚 Cup is awarded to institutions that have demonstrated the highest increase in full-time equivalent enrollment within their sector. Coastal Georgia has consistently led the state colleges sector, and this summer enrolled 1,773 students in summer courses鈥攁 12.36 % increase compared to summer 2024, which had 1,578 students.

鈥淭his four-peat is more than a trophy鈥攊t鈥檚 a testament to the transformative work happening across our campus,鈥� said Dr. Johnny L. Evans Jr., president of the 海角社区. 鈥淲e鈥檙e not just growing in numbers鈥攚e鈥檙e growing in impact.鈥�

Following the Chancellor鈥檚 Cup win, the College began the 2024-25 academic year with its highest first-day numbers, showing over 3,700 students and over 800 new freshmen. Additionally, the College broke last year鈥檚 dual enrollment record, with 502 high school students taking college courses.
